Hazardous Chemicals Linked to Uterine Cancer
According to a recent National Institutes of Health study, women who frequently use chemical hair straighteners, or relaxers, face a significantly higher risk of uterine and endometrial cancer.
The results were published in October 2022 after an 11-year study of 33,497 women between the ages of 35 and 74.
